In our latest update, we've significantly enhanced the functionality of our platform. We are excited to introduce session summaries, now available in both TXT and JSON formats. These summaries are accessible via the dashboard and our API. Read on to find out more about these and other improvements.

Dashboard and API
New Features
- We have separated the Transcripts and Captions settings into distinct sections under a new Transcripts tab in our room settings. Now, when enabling Transcripts, the speech of participants is transcribed into text, making transcripts available both from the dashboard and the API. Conversely, when enabling Captions, participants can individually choose to enable or disable closed captions during sessions. This organisational change ensures clearer accessibility options and enhanced user control.
- Session summaries are now available for export from the Sessions page of the dashboard. Choose TXT or JSON formats, to suit your needs.
- Session summaries can now be retrieved from the API, at session-level.
- Enhanced the recordings page with a 'search recordings' functionality, allowing team members to track recordings by name, author and room.
- Added the ability to filter recordings by status on the dashboard, enabling team members to focus on recordings that are ready, processing, recording or all statuses.
- Added a 'search rooms' functionality to the rooms page, allowing integrators to find rooms by their name.
- Enhanced the Tokens page usability by adding a 'Copy URL' button, which copies the token-appended URL, alongside the existing 'Copy token' button that copies only the token.
- Enhanced the room language configuration by adding a new Languages setting, allowing team members to select a subset of languages for participants to be able to choose from.
- Minor language improvement on the team owner transfer modal.
In-Room
New Features
- Implemented a new 'Add breakout room' functionality, allowing moderators to add new breakout rooms individually during the session, as long as breakouts sessions are not running.
- Refactored the screensharing model, making it more robust.
- A toast notification is now triggered upon joining a transcribed session, so that everyone in the room is aware.
- The 'open mic' icon now also shows on the row of the local user in the participants panel, when the local mic is turned on.
Fixed
- Fixed an issue in the Q&A panel where deleting a question before another user opened the panel would cause the the panel to throw an error.
- Implemented a fix that ensures that the context menu of the tiles is opened over the triggering tile.

Fixed
- Implementing a permission to lock/unlock whiteboard elements. Users can now access a 'lock' icon in the context menu of elements to restrict editing. While unlocked, users with appropriate permissions can edit elements, while others can only select. Once locked, editing is disabled for all except those with permission to unlock and modify the element.
